This July, apart from timely monsoons there is yet another reason to smile for our Tilaknagar residents. After an overwhelming response received in Mumbai and other parts of Thane, Generico medical (a social initiative by IIT Bombay alumni) has started its 10th store at Building No 83, Tilaknagar with two more to launch soon in Chembur and Pantnagar.

The store was inaugurated by Mr Susham Gopal Savant (corporator, Tilak Nagar) on 8 July and received a huge response from the local residents.
Generico provides medicines at 15% - 80% savings to patients. Apart from selling quality generic substitutes at up to 80% discount, Generico also provides branded medicines at minimum 15% discount. The generic substitutes are sourced from leading Pharma companies only and recommended by qualified chemists at the Generico store.
Life-saving drugs are sold at up to 50% discount and diabetics are able to save 40-50% of their monthly bills by purchasing their medicines and testing devices from Generico.
As a special gesture for Tilaknagar residents, Generico has launched a local number (81049 98532) where patients can call in case of any queries related to their prescription or about generic medicines and even order medicines.
Over the last one year Generico has worked towards providing quality affordable medicines to Mumbai and Thane residents. Generico has so far delivered a cumulative saving of Rs 5 crore to over 50,000 patients in the last 12 months.
Generic medicines has been promoted extensively by our government in the last few years as a quality and affordable option to costly medicines. Generico aims to be a part of this social movement to provide quality medicines at right prices for patients.
