Empty road "CLOSED",Wide Open











The Panch Rasta Junction, in Mulund, which is normally hub with vehicular & pedestrian movement, wore a barren look as people chose to stay home as the atmosphere in Mumbai was tensed with incidents of violence by MNS workers protesting against the arrest of Raj Thakeray.

Cricket "Having a field day"







Fearing the violent protests by MNS workers against arrest of Raj Thakeray, mumbaites kept away from streets but some enthusiastic youngsters utilized the empty roads for playing cricket on the streets of Mulund.

Opening Bhakti Marg to be Concretized.








Bhoomipoojan of the concretization road work of Bhakti Marg was conducted on 21st October 2008. The work has been initiated with the efforts of young & dynamic Municipal councilor from Mulund, Manoj Kotak. Also present at the Bhoomipoojan were Asst. Commissioner –MCGM,T ward, M.Kshirsagar, Municipal Councilors Amita Shah & Vishvanath Maske were also present at the occasion. Residents of the road being concretized were presnt at the occasion in full strength as it was a long pending demand of the locals, to which the MCGM has finally consented with untiring efforts from Manoj Kotak.
